The Hunger Games is a novel written by Suzanne Collins. It is the first book of the Hunger Games trilogy. It introduces sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem where North America once stood. This is where a powerful government working in a central city called the Capitol holds power. In the book, the Hunger Games are an annual televised event where the Capitol chooses one boy and one girl from each district to fight to the death.

Imagine you are in Hunger Game
Imagine you are in the Hunger Game with people that you know like Katniss and Peeta, what would you do in that situation? Are you going to try to win the game by killing others? or are you going to sacrifice you life to let others win the game?
i always hope that i can be a character in the book and play the games in the arena. And although hurting and killing people are not fun at all, but i think no matter what, i gotta keep myself alive.
I would like to be in Katniss and Peeta's shoes for the Games. I wonder what would it be like, I know it would be scary killing others to win the Game just for peoples entertainment but you have to do what you have to do right? You got yourself in this game, you can't just stop and end it by sacrificing yourself. It's not worth it, I would have to deal with it and face everyone in order to be alive.
Fantastic question Scott, great to know your truly participating with us here. I feel I am a peaceful man-child, and therefore would cringe at even the thought of murder. My strategy would be to get myself far away from the other tributes. I would then adapt to my surrounds and place traps along the perimeter. This way if careless people walk into them, i do not see the blood and gore. However if the unavoidable eventually reached me I would instantly begin to fight for my life, and my people. I would rather die fighting to the death for my people, than to sacrifice my life for my enemies.
