Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a novel written by Suzanne Collins. It is the first book of the Hunger Games trilogy. It introduces sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem where North America once stood. This is where a powerful government working in a central city called the Capitol holds power. In the book, the Hunger Games are an annual televised event where the Capitol chooses one boy and one girl from each district to fight to the death.

How is the character like anyone you know or even like you?

My friend Charlie reminds me of Peeta. He is aproximately 6 foot and has beach blond hair. He has broad shoulders and has a decent build. He also prefers to keep to himself, and is somewhat shy. He is also very caring, and would take a bullet for someone that he cared for.

I have a friend that reminds me like Peeta too, he's tall but doesn't have blond hair. He's also decent build and shy at times. He's very caring and would take a bullet for me and anyone that he cares for. He may be shy at times but when it's time for him to talk and state his opinions. It's special because he's very open-minded and have a big imagination. Thinking outside the box.

Throughout the book, I kept on relating my friend Nyan to Katniss. I feel like Katniss she is also a strong minded girl. She has always been responsible, and practically excels in anything she is interested in. She doesn't let anyone tell her what to do, and controls her future. Her best quality which relates to Katniss is her respect for everyone. Even through tough times she will go out of her way to make sure a person is treated right.
